LAUGHING MEDITATION
This meditation serves as a release from tension and suffering.We laugh only with a cause. There is fun laughter or pain laughter but one rarely laughs for no reason at all.
Laughing is a beautiful way to deep-cleanse the spirit and deeply purify it.
METHOD:
When you awaken each morning, before opening your eyes, stretch in a catlike movement. Enjoy the feeling of your body and body parts coming awake. After a few seconds you will obviously see humor in your knees creaking, perhaps, or your stomach sticking out.
Start laughing. After a few minutes you may feel yourself an idiot, but soon you will genuinely laugh. At first you may have difficulty if you are not accustomed to laughing and have forgotten how. Soon it will become spontaneous. Enjoy!
Do this also during your rest periods midday.
